Set on the Navajo Reservation, Black Cloud tells the story of a young Navajo man who must face down his inner demons if he wants to make the U.S. Olympic boxing team. The film was inspired by the real-life accomplishments of the Damon Bahe Boxing Club of Chinle, Arizona—an after-school program for local youths at risk—which has 27 national champions to its credit.
